On 24 and 25 November 2020, the Polytechnic School of the University of Lleida is organizing the fourth World Wide EPS Meeting (WWEPS).

The Escola Politècnica Superior de la Universitat de Lleida considers the process of internationalization of the center a key aspect, both for its own implementation and consolidation as a reference center and for the professional future of its students. This process must allow us to face the future with optimism and a global vision and open to the world.

The future professionals who have emerged from the Escola Politècnica Superior must be able to face their future job challenges with the maximum guarantees of success, understand and visualize in a global way the authentic and excellent job opportunities that are offered at scale. European and world.

This desire for internationalization focuses on four main lines of action: The internationalization of the institution in all its areas of action (teaching, research and transfer), the internationalization of all members of the university community, the internationalization of research and the transfer and consolidation of solid and high quality international destinations for our students.

It is precisely in this last line of action that the World Wide EPS Meeting is framed.

This is an international meeting of universities with which the Escola Politècnica Superior maintains collaborative links with the following objectives:

• Deepen this mutual knowledge in order to strengthen these bonds.
• Encourage and motivate the students of the center to move, giving them first hand, basic information about the possible international mobility destinations they have.
• Create and strengthen existing synergies, both at the teaching level and at the research level with the different universities (creation of double international degrees, request for joint research projects, etc.).

This year, due to the health situation caused by COVID-19, the WWEPS Meeting will not be able to be attended and will be held in virtual format.
